Candidates admitted to the MSM degree programs are young professionals and mid career executives originating from many different types of organizations including private companies, universities, governmental organizations and NGO’s.

MSM Fellowships for outstanding candidates

The MSM fellowships are valid for the following programs conducted in Maastricht:

the full-time MBA program and 

the full-time Master of Science in Management program 

The fellowships cover the cost of the tuition fee of these programs. Lodging and living cost are at the expense of the candidate. 

 

The MBA program is a 12-months full-time program designed for people who already have work experience on a managerial level and who are looking to enhance their careers in the global business world. The average age of participants is 28 – 35. MSM offers the MBA program with four specializations: Accounting & Finance, Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy, Management Information Systems, International Business.

 

The Master of Science in Management program is also a 12-months full-time program targeting a younger group of students with an average age of 22 – 25. Candidates can join this program after finalizing their bachelor degree. Participants are prepared for a managerial position in International Business. The program includes an attachment abroad.

Requirements

Candidates for the MSM fellowships should fulfill following requirements:

 

Master of Science in Management (MSc)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university preferably with a foundation in economics and management

Top 10% of class

IELTS score of 7.0 or higher

GMAT score of 600 or higher

Master of Business Administration Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university preferably with a foundation in economics and management

Top 10% of class

IELTS score of 7.0 or higher

GMAT score of 600 or higher

Three or more years of professional work experience

 

Motivation

The candidates should submit two motivation letters:

Motivation letter explaining the choice for MSM and the field of study

Scholarship motivation letter

Certified copies of diploma’s, with certified English translation;

Certified copies of transcript/grade list. These transcripts have to be embossed with the issuing school’s seal and signature, with certified English translation;

Two recommendation letters: one from an official of the faculty from which you obtained your degree, one from your employer (MBA) of another person in authority, e.g. your Bachelor thesis supervisor 

Proof of English proficiency (Required if your native or predominant language is not English):

Application Process

Each application will be reviewed on an individual basis. 

Applications which are not complete with all the documents and materials mentioned above will not be reviewed. 

The Graduate Admissions Board will make a decision based on the candidate’s prior academic performance, work experience and overall achievements and goals.  

For candidates applying for the scholarship the admission process will include an interview.
